I think it is safe to say that finding another case that offers as many features as the BachVx does for under $100.00 is going to be quite a undertaking. From it's huge panoramic side-panel window down to its tool-less assembly the BachVx begs to be loaded with high powered goodies. The piano black paint finish is superb and just adds to the overall appeal of the mid-priced wonder. ..

When I first saw the Thermaltake BachVx Case I thought Home Theatre PC, because of its piano-black paint finish and brushed aluminum silver front. This case would look excellent next to audio/video gear. There are plenty of drive bays for a mid-tower case, tool-free design and excellent ventilation. I really like the fact they have a large 140mm intake fan at the front of the case. There are even two USB ports, a mic and headphone jack, as well as a eSATA port at the top of the case. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end. ..

So what's the verdict? As you can probably tell from the previous pages, there is very little to dislike about the Bach VX. As far as steel midtowers go it is unable to set itself apart from most of the models out there (at least those from competitive companies, like Thermaltake, Antec, and Cooler Master) but it does not disappoint. This is to say that the Bach VX is a solid enclosure that will make the right buyers very happy ..

The phrase used for this case is "Charm the Ordinary". Now the question is whether or not Thermaltake accomplished that with the Bach VX. The swing out front bezel is a great design idea making it easy to install the drives as well as clean the intake fan filter. The use of a 140mm intake fan and 120mm exhaust fan means plenty of airflow at low noise levels. And this is first case I've see with a 140mm fan on it. ..

The Thermaltake Bach Vx is one of the rare cases which keeps surprising you all the way from unboxing to the finished system. You will most likely catch yourself just looking at the case for a few seconds after unpacking it. Then the joy continues when taking it apart and installing all your hardware. ..
